Why do I sometimes see other model names in brackets?
Sometimes manufacturers give different model names to the same equipment in different parts of the world. Our database uses the names of European models. Sometimes you will see another model name in brackets next to a model name. This is the alternative name for the same model in another part of the world, usually the USA. Instruction manuals for a European model also apply for the foreign model.
Our search program is smart enough to search for both European and American model names. Search for any Minolta Maxxum as a good example.
